Default Long Term VMod

What are the long term effects of a VMod?

I've pushed my 6800GT to 1.4v and dont have any problems with heat, (65C Load). Should I expect this to shorten the life of the card?

Yes. Overclocking shortens the life of any thing.

Yet when you think about it a non overclocked 6800gt might last 10 years, and an overclocked one might last 7. So in most cases you either wont be using the card or another part of the card might have failed (heat-sink fan) and you buy a 9000GTX (in 7 years)
