Radlinker

After sttling at 2.5 ghz with my amd 3000 I saw my X700 pro and thought why Isnt that over clocked but I have no Idea on how to use radlinker and I see the two bar's that I can slide now when I slide thaose bars am I seting the core speed or am I increaseing it by the number showen.

you are increasing the core speed (or memory depending on the slider) . Personally, I never understood why people use radlinker over ATI tool

I have been usign radlinker since my 9600Pro, seems to work. Chnages the clocks before your start menu appears then its gone. I think I used ATi tool once, and didnt like it.

ati tool was only around since the 9*** series. Some of us liked to OC out Radeon DDR's.

The ATI tool can read temps, ajust fan speed to run 100% all the time or dynamically.

There is even an option to tweeks the timings in the vid cards bios

Try that with RadLinker

Becuase the one I used, and just downloaded about an hour ago suck $hit.

Does say my card is a 350, even though its a r360.

Im pretty sure it reads the BIOS, which means my bios is teh rong one for my card?

Yes, ATI tool works like a charm with ATI drivers or Omega.

Bottom right corner has a "Settings" button, the keys to the Kingdom lay inside..

At the top of the settings is a pull down menu with many settings...

(Just don't mess with the timings unless u know what u are doing!)

Hmm, I'll have to get this. I've been using RadLinker for a VERY minimal overclock as all I have is a stock HSF attached with AS5 and a ziptie. Wonder if this'll work any better...

OT: Can anyone recommend a good cooler that'll actually work on my card (i.e. doesn't depend on the 2pole fan connector since that didn't work with my ATi silencer >:|)?

What kind of card do you have??? But the Zalman VF700 is nice as Sh*t... But you have to be very careful when cleaning the fan or even blowing it out with air.. the fan blades dont like you to touch them! I just bought one and broke it 5 days later when cleaning my computer out..

Good cooler tho. i give it 9 out of 10 starts A++

I have a 128mb 9600xt, Connect3D retail. I think i'm either buying the VF700 or some nice headphones.

For ATI cards, ATITool pwnz everything else... easy to use, works great... it will even find the max gpu and mem overclock for you!

I would pay money for the app if they charged for it.

My 9800Pro doesmt support any of those features....so I will use Radlinker like I have been for the past 2 years. All I need is 2 slider bars, nothing else.
