Default Max safe OC on a 9600xt

Hey

I have stock cooling on my ATI card, I was just wondering what you guys
have gotten it to, keeping in mind I dont have extra cash for new cooling or a new card.

Thanks

You can always put a 80mm fan in the slot right next to your video and boost your GPU cooling without spending a lot of money.

stock cooling on mine with no fans. I use omega drivers and got it to core ~560 mem ~350 stable. Stock was 500/300

power color 9600xt 256mb ram

pending on who makes it, ambient chips and whether or not it was made on a tuesday will greatly affect it. My step bro runs same exact only dif is he has a 80mm fan next to it (pci cooler) and he runs 586/372 (if memory serves right.

just install omega drivers use their rad linker (i believe thats the name of it) and bump up in 2-5pt intagers on memory and runn test till you find max. then decrese mem back to normal do same on core. then now you know the max so try incresing then till you find the perfect combo. I did some serching whilst i was at school and seen some1 who claimed to of hit 600/420 stable but had no screen shots or anything so i dont know if his claims where true. He was also using the power color version. But if PC can do it i dont see why ros. shouldent. I have no experience with roswell cards.

The RAM or the core gave out from being overclocked. The fan was spinning when I got home at least...

there is a thread on pr about it somewhere, shows picture of my screen.
