ATI released their 2900 pro series cards just recently but based on the 2900xt board and gpu....
X800gto2 anyone?

Apparantly with a quick bios flash, this card IS a radeon 2900xt. And at 154 dollars for some score stomping power, you just cant go wrong. can you?

Here's a comparison between a 2900XT and the nearest price competitor, the HD3850.

As you can see, the 2900XT outperforms the 3850, but bear in mind that it requires heavy-duty cooling and a decent PSU.

I'm interested in these to. There Ã‚Â£100 in the UK and they look like they should be a bit faster than the HD3850's. There pretty much all BIOS moddable to XT's from what I've seen too.
