Intel Pentium 4: Socket 775
The NexXxos XP is a new kind of copper cooler with parallel canals in PCF(c) construction type. Additionally, the canals were drilled in 90° angles - thus the surface area is enourmously increased for heat transfer. The copper surface was glass-beaded in order to increase the cooling surface once again. The cooler has a patent-applied nozzle unit with return canals for quicker transport of warm water. The flow resistance was reduced by 30%, which is a very good condition for systems with BSPT 1/4" connections and 10/8mm tubes.
In order to take advantage of a solid-metal cooler, high-temperature O-rings were installed which can resist maximum temperatures of up to 200° Celsius. One more security factor, if there should be any emergency situations that require it.
Further mechanical advantages arise due to the central pressure force of the middle screw and easy mounting since you don't have to remove the motherboard.
The surface of the cooler is even and polished. The cover is polished as well; the cover and nozzle unit are nickel-plated.
The BSPT 1/4" thread connections are suitable for all kinds of connection systems. The enclosed mounting hardware makes removal of the motherboardboard unnecessary.
