The Innovatek Protect N is an electrically non-conductive, corrosion protection and heat distribution medium concentrate (the world-wide first water additive developed exclusively for this purpose) protects water cooling reliably against corrosion and bio infestation. The additive is bio-degradable and is easy to use. In the "N" variant Innovatek Protect is usable with normal tap water and is FOOD SAFE.

Innovatek Protect N:

A special variant (concentrate) designed for use with normal tap water (mixture 1:4). With Innovatek Protect N and normal tap water the same protective effect and identical corrosion protection is achieved as was before with the combination of Innovatek Protect + Distilled Water. Of course Innovatek Protect N can be used with with distilled water to provide the absolute best protection.

EHEIM certified:

The Innovatek Protect line of products is the only corrosion protection agent officially certified by EHEIM and approved for use with EHEIM pumps in Personal Computers.

Innovatek placed high importance on Enviromental Protection during development: Innovatek Protect is bio-degradable and can be disposed of in a normal manner without any danger to the environment or your health. Innovatek is not simply anti-freeze rebottled.

Application:

The recommended mixture is 1:4 (1 part concentrate; 4 parts tap water). For optimum performance use distilled water.

What is Innovatek Protect?

This heat distribution medium additive is particularly designed for use in water cooling circuits. Besides the hydrodynamic behavior that is improved by the additive, Innovatek Protect is to be used only in closed circuits (almost all cooling systems are closed circuits) and will protect components against corrosion.

The analytic investigation that Innovatek did during development found that copper oxihydrat itself does not obstruct the heat transfer. If the layer is however greenish or bluish, then it consists of (the best case scenario) copper carbonate (patina) or (the worse case scenario) a mixture of copper hydroxide and chloride, and/or sulfate. In the latter case the build-up doesn't stop and always keeps producing thicker and thicker layers which are highly obstructive to the thermal conduction. The cause: the water is not salt-free. The patina layers result from carbonic acid from air, thus the cooling circuit somewhere has contact to fresh, open air.

Food Safe:
