Extreme Service Life:
Developing a pump with extreme service life utilizing Fluid XP+ was the greatest challenge facing Fluid XP+'s engineers. They overcame this demand by employing several different design patent pending techniques to extend service life and increase performance over any other pump in a micro package.

Bearings:
The MAGNUM features dual in fluid bearings, using the best material available, jewels. These bearings are made of highly polished Sapphire. This is an extremely hard and long lasting material, often found in expensive watches, high precision instruments and gyroscopes used in the aerospace and military industries. The MAGNUM is the first liquid cooling pump specifically designed for the properties found in Fluid XP+ to optimize performance over other pumps.

Reducing Forces:
The MAGNUM design utilizes two natural pump forces to reduce bearing / shaft loads. First a small amount of flow is diverted through and around the impeller between the motor rotor and stator. This allows boundary layer effect of the spinning rotor surface to help stabilize radial loads. This is similar to how the bearings in your automobile works. As an additional effect it keeps coil temperatures low allowing the motor to run at maximum efficiency.

Magnetic Forces:
Developed between the very strong rare earth magnetic rotor ring, and the iron stator teeth allow the impeller to operate in magnetic suspension, which virtually eliminates thrusting loads.

Leak Proof:
The MAGNUM has no shaft seal, eliminating the possibility of leaking occurring due to long term seal ware. The stator assembly has a plastic barrier between the rotor and the fluid operating magnetic coupling. The drive and impeller housing is plastic, to reduce the chance of long term fouling.

Brushless DC Motor:
The MAGNUM features a brushless DC motor designed with an operational component life in excess of 50,000 hours. All heat generating components are thermal conductive bonded to the aluminium case. This provides a large heat sink area allowing the motor to run under constant high efficiency.

User Features:
Although Fluid XP+'s main goal was to solve the major engineering problems, they also managed to provide the features customers requested.

Micro Size:
Less space, leaving room in your case for additional components. This is one of the smallest pumps currently available to the PC liquid cooling consumer.

Configurable:
The MAGNUM features a unique impeller specifically designed for use with Fluid XP+ for increased flow.

Direct RPM:
The MAGNUM features a hall sensor that directly reads the rotation of the impeller. The impeller RPM can them be monitored using your standard fan mother board utilities via the fan port.

Ultra Low Noise:
The MAGNUM operates at a lower noise level than most pumps on the market due to the sealed motor compartment and improved pump housing design.

Easy Installation:
The included industrial adhesive pads allow easy installation on any plastic or metal surface. A single pad can support up to 40 pounds, allowing you to mount the unit in almost any position without concern. An additional four tapped holes on the back of the pump provides easy mounting to the optional dual mount. This also allows you to use your existing pump bracket, or mount to the case.

Ports:
The MAGNUM features a top inlet to further maximize your case space. The pump is now available with most popular fitting ports.

Summary:
The MAGNUM features a new coating process to ensure long term corrosion protection.

Multi Unit:
Do to the small size and low power consumption of the MAGNUM, a multi unit install is possible. When liquid cooling graphic cards and or chip sets this provides an advantage by isolating the flow path ensuring zero thermo transfer from the CPU. As an additional benefit the flow across the CPU will also increase. The MAGNUMallows series as well as parallel flow configurations.
