![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The MCW6002™ waterblock is an extreme duty liquid cooling solution for high-end microprocessors. It only differs from the MCW6000™ by the outter diameter of its inlet and outlet, which are designed to receive 1/2" ID tubing. This solutions caters to users with high flow systems. Swiftech's engineering team focussed on optimizing five essential design features: performance, reliability, compatibility, convenience, and cost. This product line aims at providing the best value in the industry. Features & benefits: Performance: Close to 2°C better than the previous 5000 & 5002 seriesThe inlet is centrally located to focus the lowest temperature fluid over the hottest area. The precise location and diameter of the inlet are calculated to optimize flow velocity and turbulence, thus accelerating the convection heat transfer into the fluid. The waterblock base features a thin pin design (281 pins). This geometry maximizes the surface area exposed to the fluid, and promotes turbulent flow, both factors which also contribute to enhance the convection heat transfer, while exhibiting less overall flow restriction than competing designs (1).The inlet and outlet are 1/2" in diameter, allowing direct use of 1/2"" internal diameter tubing (1/2" OD) for extreme system flow rates. The block is an all C110 copper construction, to exploit the high thermal conductivity characteristics of this metal. Long term reliability: Built to last"Monolithic" construction: the base and housing are brazed together, assuring long term integrity of the joint. The copper housing features an unlimited durability compared to acrylic tops used in competing technologiesThe all copper construction eliminates galvanic corrosion.100% quality control at the assembly line level: each block is factory tested to 25 psi (1.7 bars) to guarantee zero defect. Compatibility and upgradeability: One size fits allThe 2.5" x 2.5" form factor enables the same block to be used with all current microprocessors in the Desktop and Server markets, including upcoming products expected to be released by major OEM's within the next 12 months. The inlet and outlet are ridged to provide superior sealing with hose clamp fittings. In many cases, the same block can be reused with different classes of processors, by simply swapping retainer plates, thus reducing the cost of ownership. Convenience: "Plug-and-Play" installationThe MCW6002™ attachment mechanism is plug-end-play and does not necessitate removal of the motherboard. Each retention system has been engineered to comply with OEM specifications, and optimize both safety and ease of use during installation. Cost: Exceptional value While the MCW6002™ product line can be regarded as "high end" from a performance standpoint, the design and manufacturing process are mass production oriented to foster economies of scale. This is accomplished without sacrificing the essential performance and quality features demanded by high-performance after-market and OEM users alike. MCW6002™ Specifications: Housing:The copper housing is stamped, and brazed to the waterblock base. The surface is treated with protective coating to minimize surface discoloration over time.1/2" inlet and outlet tubes are soldered to the housing.Inlet is optimized for optimum jet impingement effect. Each assembly is pressure tested to 25 psi (1.7 bars) Base:The base is a one piece copper forging made of C110 copper, featuring 281 thin pins.Exceptional quality and attention to details: the base is lapped flat to 0.0005", and polished to near-mirror finish to promote optimum thermal conductivity. Users are advised that while flatness is strictly respected for providing the most significant benefit to thermal interface, surface polish is a cosmetic component and may vary slightly from one heatsink to another. Re-lapping or polishing the copper base is never recommended. Fittings:The MCW6002™ inlet and outlet tubes are specifically intended to be used with hose clamps (included with the waterblock).MCW6002-775™ for Intel® Pentium® 4 (Socket LGA 775): Assembly including waterblock, S775 hold-down plate, hose clamps, installation guide. http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-blc-193.html?id=QUYLGcgJ |
