      |  Upgrading Motherboard RAM / Need new home for old RAM One of my main work systems is a Compaq P4 Laptop. it uses PC2100 DDR RAM but it only has 2 slots for RAM and Toshiba stuck it to me by populating each spot with a single 256MB stick. So in order to reach 1GB (my goal) I have to get two new 512MB sticks... bastards. Is there anyone out there that would be interested in buying these two 256MB PC2100 SODIMM sticks? If so let me know and we can work out a fair price for them. They are less than 6 months old. I just simply need more RAM for all the apps I have open at any given time.

| that's laptop ram, existz... can't use it for desktop PCs.

You do realize these are SODIMMs for a laptop right.They cannot be used on an ATX board if that is what you intend to build.

| If you're willing to wait until later, GK, I can check with my brother. I think his laptop only has 256 total, just need to see what kind of ram it has. I'll be visiting him in WI tomorrow.

| Hey GK, I just got a new laptop (well, new to me) and I think I should have some money coming my way soon. PM me or just post it here what kind of price you're asking for it and I'll let you know. I also have to check and see if my laptop will take that RAM....it's an Inspiron 3800.
