 | Re: Bfg 7900gtoc They may not be the best out there, but whatever these pre-overclocked cards had done to them they OC past their "stock" pretty darn nicely. In my x2 3800+ running at 2.7ghz with 1gb of ram my brother card is getting 20600 in 3dmark03 I'm sure it would get higher with better cooling and a volt mod (just a zally v700 on it right now) the ram is what impresses me the most, I'm running mine at 1632 right now (as fast as coolbits will let me go) Saddly enough when it comes to FPS this single card overclocked whumps sli at stock speeds when I run CS:S. |

| Re: Bfg 7900gtoc Allright last bump here, $175 shipped or it goes back into my computer, I don't anticipate the first set of DX10 cards being that great, so maybe having two will stretch my time until I buy a new card a little longer. Either way you can't beat that price, practically a 7900GTO in terms of OC, and it should dominate that stinky ATI 1950 pro. |

I almost can't resist, I'm going to PM you with a few things i'm willing to trade off with some extra cash, i relly need a card, and this is almost perfect for me, although as i just blew a piston rod in my car yesterday, i'm on a tight budget, expect a PM right after i get home from school today around 6 EST.

| Re: Bfg 7900gtoc Ok since there was intrest I just popped the card in, and it's working, using coolbits "detect optimal frequency" I ended up @ 570/1600 (obviously still the stock cooler) I'm off to play a little BF 2142 just to make sure it still works as advertised. Really... that's the only reason I'd play a game...  |
