| The Munificent Monsignor has decided to post Case of the Week #3 early since the Virgin is gone. Someone requested a sweet midtower, therefore we affectionately name this case SWEET. +++ this is an AT case – not atx. +++ Believe it’s a KUNGPAO and still has a Kungpao 250 switching power supply installed [no mobo tho]. 3 external 5.25†bays, 2 external 3.5†bays, 2 internal 3.5†bays. All 5 bay covers, but not necessarily the originals All 8 slot covers in back, but not necessarily the originals Price [as always] $1 plus ACTUAL shipping and a small handling fee to cover the boxes I still ain’t had to buy but need to … Monsignor takes PayPal & money orders. Earliest timestamp with a ZIP CODE on a PM to me gets DIBS You wanna back story? Try This Last Week – Virgin sold, MCOTW #1 still available [and it’s a two-fer] Next week – The Monsignor takes requests … wanna see a big desktop? big tower? Another like sweet? Let the Monsignor know right here in this thread! -MF | ||

| Lokie's Personal WU-Hoe | LOL...I already read everything in this thread, but I realise that everyone has their own opinions so I don't take a whole one persons opinion to heart. I thought the case was OK, but I was mainly after the PSU Yes, I could have bought one off of ebay, but buying one from here is an added security...if something goes wrong then he can't just blow me off and get a bad rating since he won't be able to sell anything more all because he lost everyone's trust. Now, I'm not saying you'd do something like that Monsignor ![]() | |

| I just trashed a socket 7 mobo Monday I'd have given to you. It was Asus tho' and I see in another thread where you and Asus have a .... past. No proc - just the mobo. I stripped most of the parts from the cases that weren't already stripped - two small (<1G) hard drives, a few 3.5" floppys, bunch 5.25" floppys which I have in the laundry room ready for testing ..... Anybody need a serial/parallel hookup? Call 1-800-Monsignor! The PSUs and mobos I left in - as guide for the modders to come and because taking them out is a hassle for no profit. I tried to sell a dozen AT PSUs for $12 on eBay - no takers so I parted them out and kept the fans. What good would another dozen PSUs do me? I'll pop open the cases and see how well I can identify mobos and psus in future 'Monsignor Case of the Week' listings. I'll PM you if I find a Socket 7 board - maybe we can do a $1 for that as well. -MF | ||
