  |  I'm looking for a used fan-bus/rheostat controller I have a crappy old HD (small and slow) and maybe a zip drive... Ok, so basically i have nothing..... Im looking for anybody who has a used fan-controller that could mount in a 5 1/4 drive bay for my rig. I've been wanting one for a while and before i tried to buy one retail I would check here and see if anybody has one they are willing to part with. Any help? Thanks gang!

| its less than 10 gigs and I would guess 5400 RPM. who knows what's on it... I dont know much about (read nothing) electronics and I dont have any exra bay-covers. Hmmm.. Maybe I will take it anyway...see what I can fiddle with to make it work. How much you want for it Foe? and if anybody else has any hanging around, let me know. Kayin, if you want this drive, I will just give it to you. PM me your address.

 | I've got an old four fan three position bay bus sitting here. It's just the circuit board and switches, so you will have to mod your own 5 1/4" bay cover. The leds are green/red.

| Is it a 10GB Seagate or Fujitsu 4500 or 5400RPM drive? I have a 10GB Fujitsu 5400RPM drive running W2K3 on my server, and that thing gets 28mb/s according so sisoft sandra, pretty fast drive for being 5 years old.
