Well, as I said, flame all you want. I'm not a scammer or a crook. To address a few of the questions that people have asked:

Yes, federal student loans are easy to get. However, since I'm at the 172 hour limit, I can't get federal funding of any kind. Therefore, I'm having to seek out alternative loans, and my school. the University of North Alabama, requires that I have a co-signer. BELIEVE ME, if i didn't have to have one, I wouldn't ask anyone for help. I would rather do it on my own, but that's not an option for me right now.

Yes, I have tried people I know such as mother, brother, father, etc. My mother and brother both have poor credit, so they didn't qualify as a co-signer. To be frank about it, my dad won't help me or my brother either one out with anything. I have asked the friends I have that have semi-decent credit, of which several have tried, but none of them qualify either.

This was an absolute LAST resort for me. I figured that people on here would flame me, and that was fine. However, I DIDN'T think that everyone on here would act like they have. I thought there MIGHT be a bit of understanding. Yes, I realize that I'm new here, and yes, I realize that there are scammers in the world. The thing is though, the only reason I offered to give $500 out of the loan money to anyone who would help was because I'm THAT desperate. I really need to keep the money, but I want to be able to finish the degree that I've worked my a$$ off to get.

So, with that said, say what you want about me. I don't care. I've never been one to take attacks on a d-board to heart. Post any pic that you want with people flipping me off or whatever else. Give me links to the FBI site, I really don't care. I doesn't matter to me right now, because the only thing I care about is trying to find funding so I can GRADUATE. Everybody knows that without a degree these days, you can't fine a job worth $hit.

Thanks for those who have given LEGITIMATE advice and links, etc. I went to that myrichuncle.com site and filled out an application with them. Unfortunately, my school wasn't listed so I had to fill out a printable form and fax it in, then mail the hard copy off. I'm crossing my fingers on that one, but with the way things have been going, I'm not going to hold my breath. If anyone else has any legit advice or would like to help me out and make some money for it, let me know. I'll give you contact information for me, and I will also give you references (personal and business) who can verify my situation and my character.

Thanks again for the advice I've gotten. I'm hoping SOMETHING will pan out. For those who just want to flame for the sake of flaming, go for it. But it doesn't help my situation and frankly, it makes me think less of the people who do it. I write articles, study, work, and bust my a$$ at everything I do. I have earned the respect of people who know me. I'll eventually do that here as well, but for now, I'm new. I can't help it. But do what you want. In the meantime, I'm going to continue to work my a$$ off and try to find some way to finish up my degree. Maybe it'll come from here, maybe not.

Have you spoken to a superior at work? Maybe some of them would be interested in helping you. If not, a teacher/advisor, because I'm sure they want you to graduate.

Please, don't take the frustration you're feeling out on these people, as some are trying to help you.

Truth is, the reason I can't find a co-signer is 'cause pretty much everyone I know doesn't have enough credit or has less than perfect credit. I know some of the guys in here are trying to help. But for the record, this subject WAS NOT MY FIRST POST. Go back and READ. The reason I asked here is because with all the help that I got with the article that I wrote, I thought that this was a really good discussion forum with some really cool people. Instead, I find out that it's just like every other forum I've came across. A handfull of cool people, and then a bunch of people who just want to flame.

: If anyone here wants to make an easy $500 by helping me out, e-mail me. But beyond that, I'm gone. I guess I won't be plugging the forums for PimpRig if this is the type **** that goes on. Later.
