LF: 15 Pin Extension Cable

I am currently looking for an extension cable that can fit the control unit for the Z-5500 Speakers. The cable is exactly the same as a vga monitor extension cable. the problem I have is that I already had a vga monitor cable and I used that except my front right speaker doesn't work because upon examination of the supposed 15 pin plug, it actually only has 14 pins so one channel isn't getting transmitted. I tried buying another extension cable from newegg but it turned out to only have 14 pins as well.

Does anyone have a vga extension cable that actually has 15 pins or are they only sold with 14?

i have a brand new , 6ft, 15 pin vga extension cable, both ends are male, both have 15pins in them

think it needs to be male -> female.

I have these speakers. There is a warning in the instructions that says not to use a monitor cable to extend the connection. It's on the bottom left corner of the attached PDF.

Here is a cable w/ all 15 pins.

was working fine for the 2 weeks i've been using an extension cable (besides one channel not working from the missing pin.) regardless, i moved my sub closer so i can get that right channel working again and i took out the extension cable.
