They get adjusted with either jumpers or dip switches. Depends on the type of adapter. The one I got has jumpers. Look at the arrows the blue box is the dip switches. look at the arrow pointing to the black jumpers.

| Apex Tech Fanatic | I just had a socket 370 mobo die on me, and my 1GHZ PIII has no home . I really never thought about doing that until I saw this thread! Thanx for the kick in the pants! I haven't been able to locate any halfway decent 133FSB socket 370 mobo's for a decent price (most in excess of $50), and since i got the computer for free (gateway, no wonder it was free) I don't want to spend alot to make it work. Unless someone might have a mobo they are willing to part with??? I'll wait a few days to see which route is better. Thanks again for reminding me about those adapters though. The jumpered voltage setting looks pretty sweet! |

I have a few whole pc's laying around with motherboard & case in all basically a barebones. (Only case, power supply, motherboard. No ram or drives.) That I loved to get rid of. They are all prebuilt like Compaq, HP,IBM, DELL,. Only know of one of the ones I got that will go that high for sure. Some are slot one some are socket 370. OH, I see you from Florida. So we could meet up the case would be expensive to ship. Cheaper to pick up. Let me see what I got. Do you have anthing for trade or did you want to pay cash for it?

| Apex Tech Fanatic | I have a bunch of hardware around here . . . I'll have to get a list together for u over the next couple days. I'm trying to build up my folding army, so I might be inclined to pay cash. I do have a few socket A boards including 2 Nforce2 boards, a Biostar M7NCD and an Asus A7N8X-VM400. The Asus has a built in GF4, but I could never get it to play UT 2K4 so I don't use it. I really just want to try and get more computers together to fold. I gotta hit the hay, finally have work again after 2 weeks. I'll try to get back to you, perhaps we can get a few people on AIM and do some wheeling and dealing! Thanks for the help, as soon as i get my gear (and some cash) in order I'll post back. EDIT - 1600 posts . . . GRATZ! |
