Talking Serial?

You mean with a 9-pin DIN connector? I got a box of 'em. 1 even has a scroll wheel. Tell me more [in a PM if you like] and I'll recommend the best candidates.

Ok I've got two boring two-button mouses.
I've also got one real nice one = original box,5.25" driver disk,instructions,9-to-25 pin adapter. Good one if you ned to give it to some1 you wish to impress.
The one with a scroll wheel [#4] wasn't a scroll wheel - rather it's a spring-loaded switch in the same position as the Intellimouse scroll wheel. Made by Mitsumi. Assume with correct drivers the switch basically works like scroll wheel.
