| PCApex Review Editor | Well, after getting my new computer pieces, I had to remove an old system, and that's what's up for sale. I'd like to sell this all in one lump, but will part out if absolutely needed. Keeping this in mind, I will give the description of what's up for sale and show my pictures first, then give the pricing info at the bottom. Mind, my pix aren't all that grand as our digi cam is very lacking in the high quality dept. And my ISP e-mail is jnkeene@charter.net. The motherboard is an ASRock K7S41GX. It's a solid little mobo with great life left in it. It worked like a charm the entire year I had it. ![]() The CPU is an AMD Athlon XP 1900 +. It's a bit slow by today's standards, but it's a solid chip. It's never been OC'd. Actually, I pretty much babied this chip. ![]() ![]() Those two are being sold together, regardless of what happens to the rest of the sale, as I don't have the ability to ship the cpu safely on it's own. I have the stock heatsink attatched to the board and have applied Ceramique for the thermal paste. Good stuff, that. - $60 for the Mobo and CPU as one. ![]() Next up is the RAM - 512 Mb of Spectek PC2100 DDR (2 x 256 Mb) - If you want to look this ram up on the site, you have to search by the OLD part number system here. The part number is - P32M648HHC-75A. Once again, no overclocking, and it ran very solidly for me. - $35 for the Ram. ![]() And lastly, we have what is, to me, the showpiece of this sale, the BFG Geforce 4 4600 with a Thermaltake G4-VGA replacement fan w/included Molex power dongle. This card was running everything up to and including Doom 3 for me (not very well ,but it WAS running it) before I got my Geforce 6 6600. This card is the reason for my being an Nvidia fanboy, as no matter what I threw at it, so long as the game wasn't made to say "Nope, your card can't handle me". And, as with everything else, No overclocking, it was babied the entire time. The fan was added as the original fan started maing some horrible grinding noise. It turns out the fan was a bit loose and striking the top of the fan shroud, so I just replaced it and hadn't had a problem since. Just make sure that when you setup the system to hook the molex dongle into your power loop to ensure the fan gets power. - $40 for the Vid card. Also included is the BFG VIVO dongle(You MUST download and install the Nvidia WMD driver for your version of windows for the dongle to work properly). ![]() So, this brings me to what I am looking at for cash - For the whole bundle I'm lookin for $130 or if anyone is willing to, I'll take a trade on one of these hard drives. Shipping for the straight up sale will be around $12 depending on where you are located (and who you prefer me to use, UPS or Fed Ex). I'll have to contact who you choose for your shipper on each separate item to get you your Shipping costs. If you are willing to trade the drive, I'll soak the shipping on my end. Now, I am also willing to sell the Ram and Video card separate from the Mobo+CPU combo, but ONLY if no one is willing to pick up the whole deal as one. I'll post the separate prices in about a week or so if no one bites. - Seems that time's up. Separate prices are up. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks! Thanks for looking! I'm still in NY, returning from my dad's funeral, but I'll be home in a few days and will be able to pull up my price list then. I'll update the entire post so if you are still interested, you can see the new prices. The vid card DOES indeed have s video out, and I'll also be providing the VIVO (video in\video out) dongle, which will also allow you to view svideo on your computer. Thanks for the good thought about Dad. I've got the separate price list updated, once again, please keep in mind that due to lack of proper storage/shipping materials for the CPU, it and the MOBO are being sold as ONE unit. Thanks again! D | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| PCApex Review Editor | Ok, I did some digging and couldn't come up with the orig BFG disk for that card, but all you need is the standard Nvidia Geforce driver pack. So, this is bump #2. I'm still hoping to find someone who'll take pity on me and buy the whole package as one, or trade me for the drive I listed, but I'll be happy just getting rid of some of the parts. Makes for less that I'll have to hit ebay with later. |
