Mushkin PC3200 2-2-2 Special Ram

Hey Pimps,

I'm looking at possibly selling 2 x 512 Mushkin PC3200 2-2-2 Special Ram...
I was thinking 275 for it since it seems it is really good stuff. Is this a reasonable price for it?
It has never been OCed and I didnt realize what I had and am thinking about selling it to get
2 x 1GB mushkin dual channel plain jane. I would rather sell this to someone who can actually do something with it.

Can I get some opinions on the matter?

Sounds like good stuff, all right.

I'll let the experts tell you what it's worth. But personally....I'm currently in the market for some overclocking RAM, and I'd probably go with this G.SKILL Extreme Series 1GB (2 x 512MB) PC 3200 Samsung TCCD for $156, or something similar. Some people may prefer BH-6, but TCCD is fine for me, given the relatively cheap price.

If you're interested, I could trade you a gig of Kingston HyperX plus cash for it; but to be honest, you'd probably do better selling it to someone looking for that specifically.

Yeah it doesn't seem anyone can give me any ideas really on the subject.
That's ok though. I'll figure something out. I just thought there might be
some OCer's that could shed some light on the subject.

In the absense of anyone with the

award stepping in, here's what I've found after some more looking:

That AnandTech article was written in April 2004. TCCD wasn't released until later that year, filling a lot of the demand for good overclocking RAM. (October '04 marked the first reference to TCCD on PimpRig.)
Last week on eBay, a 1GB set of Mushkin Special 2-2-2 went for $118. I know that's not the number you wanted to hear, but I'd hate for you to put it up for sale and get much less than you hoped for.

I've heard BH-5/BH-6 memory may be the best available for overclocking Intel systems, while TCCD behaves better in A64 overclocks. So if you do sell it, finding a hardcore Intel OC'er may be your best bet.

EDIT: For anyone interested in the different types of memory chips, there's an excellent writeup on memory chips at sa3doc, and a good guide to which models contain which chips at XtremeSystems.org.

Yeah I went looking around, but couldn't find anything on e-bay or on google to speak of. Also, not knowing blah about Ocing, most of what i read didn't mean much to me. I appreciate your helping me and for the links too.
