WTB: Notebook Internal Wireless

I saw a thread in trading post with a "pci noteook" wireless a/b/g card. I am interestined in getting one.

heres the one i got for my toshiba lappy link
the range on it kills the pcmcia card i used to use
as long as u have a mini pci slot and an internal antenna it'll work. if u dont have an antenna u'll have to find one specific to ur lappy on ebay.

so i cracked the laptop open to see if it had the antenna. Im guessing the antenna is the two wires comming of the card?

yep. i have to warn u though those wires are a beotch to connect to the card....i had to finally use a pliers to snap them on.

yeah i took one off just to see how easy it would be to put back on. it was ok. anyone had any experience with the MSI ones? that intel one in the link is outa stock.

Heres the link for the MSI internal wireless Here, it gets good reviews.

the intel one is back in stock now. i would go for that over the msi since some ppl were reporting problems with it.
