Wait for the new PS2s to hit the new American market, which have an integrated IR receiver and progressive scan DVD playback.

guys....this is a trading post im looking to buy a PS2 not anything else. I already own a X-Box, unfortunatley it doesnt have amplitude or any other rythm games nor does it have Tekken 4. I just want to know if anyone here is SELLING THEIR PS2. Thanks.

um.... I dont think that you are going to find a person wanting to sell their PS2 on here. That is what ebay is for. Nothing against you guys, but I wouldnt buy a used one from someone i didnt know, espcially from a computer person. The reason behind that is if they send you a pic there os no telling what kind of photoshop fxing they have done to it.

My Ps2 no longer functions properly.. it was on my night stand and one thing led to another and it fell off.......... So now i can't go online... it sucks

go to gamestop.com they have refurb ps2's for like 170 or 160 and i think that if you have and electronics botique that they have used ones for 150 but i'm not 100% sure.

Those of you who get Disc Read Errors on your PS2 i've heard rumors that Sony is going to be fixing that issue for free because its such a common problem.. i suggest going to Sony.com for more info.
