Pentium 4 1.8A with stock heatsink: $110.00
It's a BO stepping but easily runs 2.4ghz at stock voltages and maxes out at around 2.66ghz but this is just with the stock heatsink.

You will probably have to do a lot better than that to on price. You can get a New Retail 1.8A from Newegg @ 140$

The only reason I'm selling is becasue ive been hearing lots of great news on the new amd 1700+ and i think im converting to AMD

I just bought a 2.4B for 165.
I sold my 1.7ghz on ebay and it only went for 75.

Yours is worth 80 max. I sold mine with warranty and box and all that crap.

No way ur 1.7 is crap. This ia a northwood with 512k and the stock heat sink. The lowest Ill go is 100 bux

I don't care, just wanted to suggest. And my 1.7 was also a northwood with 256k cache (first generation). Does not make much of a difference since Intel hit 800 fsb now. Good luck!

u shuld just sell the cpu for whatever reasonable price you can get for it and be happy with that or just keep it and put it in another pc or something. i noticed how in another post emopunker07 refered to the amd 1700+ as one of their new cpu's. it's been out for quite some time now and it isn't all that new.
