WTB Laptop or Notebook

My wife wants to get rid of the punch clock at the restraint / restaurant.

A friend said he would donate a Time program, his company designs that type of
Software.

If one can be found here on PR all the better.
The ones on EBay run around $350. Dell Latitude and IBM Thinkpads.

So I guess the minimum requirements would be the hardware CPU and Memory enough to run WinXP.

What would be the minimum hardware to look for in a EBay laptop?

Ideas or a good deal here will help.

733mhz or better
256 meg of ram

anything below that, you shouldnt be running XP, nor would you want to.

i know some people will come in and say" my 266mhz can run XP just fine" we are talking about real world use of the laptop.

more of CPU mhz and memory will be better, but thats base minimum.

also, onboard NIC would be helpful.

i would try www.craigslist.org u might be able to find one localy or TCG_Modder on Pimprig has some awesome deals....
