WTB Oldish System/Parts

im starting to get paranoia from my ISP, and want to set up a bsd router, and for some rediculous reason, out of the DOZEN or so old motherboards/CPUs lying around, i cant get any of them past HDD detection.

im not looking for anything fancy, something even like 400mhz would do. if someone has something higher, that'd be cool, cause then i could run X or whatever, but i dont NEED anything much.. if you have a full working system that you dont want, that would be cool, but even a MB/CPU would suffive being that i have all the other parts.

if you want stuff for trade, thats cool too, i do have a bunch of random crap lying around and maybe, just maybe, i have something you would be interested in. i definately dont have a large sum of cash, otherwise i would just spend the $400-500 bucks on a low-end barebones or something like that.

ADDED: i dont really know my ISP email.. i think its like nateswetland@suscom.net or something.. if you really need it, i can get it, but i never use it, the dude set it up when he went through his whole crap schpeal setting up my internet, but i didnt pay attention haha.

I have an intel slot one board and a range of P3 processors from 450-600mhz. Its an intel board so no overclocking but I doubt thats a concern. I have ram but i'd really like to keep hold of it. And I also have 2 nics and agp or pci video card (your choice)

if you want to trade, I'd practically KILL for an agp video card that has s-video out that can do 800x600 resolution. The amout of ram or who made it is illrelevent as long as the s-video can do 800x600 or better, output.

well, i have a TNT2 that has RCA out, but i also have a voodoo3... umm... i dont even recall what model... i think the 2nd highest from the top... there was the 3500, 3000, and the... err.... next one down... so either the 3000 or the 2500??? but yeah, its agp,. and has svideo... unfortunately, my tv for whatever reason HATES when i plug my computer into it, otherwise i would go test it now, so maybe i could get a friend to make sure it works before i waste your time by sending it, etc.

but, i would be willing to swap you that for whatever you feel its worth in your stuff. like i said, i have most of the parts i need minus the board/cpu, but if ya wanna throw in some extra stuff, feel free! i can always use more stuff haha
