  |  Used copy of counterstrike does anyone here got a used copy of counterstrike that they might sell to me for like $10 plus s/h? i got half life fropm a friend who was tired of it for $5 but i don't really wanna spend $20 or $30 on a new copy of cs so i thought i'd make a post here. if anyone has a copy email me at : Phreak99@optonline.net or IM me at Havic999

 | yeah dude, u can just DL the counter-strike mod... just make sure to get the one for halflife.. not for retail counterstrike

| The Outkast, what do you mean about "names arent generic?" I have always played the retail version, whats the diff?

 | Retail: Night Hawk Mod: Desert Eagle Retail: Bullpup Mod: Steyr AUG or the bull**** names for the Heckler and Kock MP5, the FNP-90 and others... those are the two that are most prominent.

| i downloaded the cs mod from the site you guys gave and installed it but i wasn't able to get it to work. the main screen comes up and what not but anytime i try to create a game it sayd something like C:\SIERRA\halflife\blah blah blah is missing. and in that adress it says like the level name i tried to use to create the game. then when i try to join or even find an online game nothing comes up.

| U need to get the newest version of both half life and counterstrike. halflife 1110 cs 1.5 make sure u got both these and ur connected to the internet, lemme know if your still not working right

| after quite some time i finally managed to get half-life updated. at first the built in updater wouldn't verify and internet connecttion so i had to find a nother way which took awhile longer. thanks for the help guys.
