| Minnes-hoe-tan | America is an amazing place... not only can you buy monitor mirrors... but bottled water and canned air... Maybe if I put the right spin for **** on a stick, I may yet be the next pet rock guy. Not to bash your product, it does have its valid uses... but... man.... |

![]() | Well, what can i say? I work in a call center which is a huge cube farm. I bought a large lot of these for about 100 people who were going to reimburse me when they came in. Problem is the entire division was closed and we were all laid off. I now work elsewhere and find these have a very valid use. Bosses like to roam the 'farm and you never know when you are concentrating on your monitor and the phone that they are standing right behind you listening and watching. I like knowing who is listening to my conversations. thanks for your post though. dave

| Lead Pimp Writer? Hell Yeah! | No, see, I'd be scared to buy something like this and put it on my monitor. Cause the door is almost right behind where my computer is (sort of at an angle), but if I were to see that door open in my those rear view mirrors at this time of the night...I'd be no good. It could turn into a scary movie.. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hmm .... not as stylish as a CHIMP, but more adjustable... What I'd really like to see electrically adjustable mirrors - preferably controlled by a mouse mounted ikkle joystick. That woud be ... well, it would be _something_. A word of warning about using CHIMPS & the like - most bosses seem to regard it as their right to sneak up on you unawares, & resent countermeasures. At the last place I worked, four of us had CHIMPs (well, I had a transulcent purple monkey copy) - all of us got canned within an hour of each other. Of course, they didn't cite our use of CHIMPs as the reason, but they said that about JFK too.

![]() | I had a part-time job in college last year at a call center. I and a few others had monitor mounted mirrors that were much nicer looking than that but they weren't as adjustable. They kind of just sat on top corner of the monitor. At the place I worked I don't even think the manager knew what the purpose of them was, she just thought they were cool little mirrors but they were VERY usefull while chatting on AIM or checking the forums on pimprig during work!

| Apex Tech Maniac | I think it's a great idea. I think it's really funny, I'd buy two one for each side.

![]() | the ones you were talking about cost about 12.50 each. as far as the boss? we just claimed the mirror were for watching ourselves while we were on the phone in order to improve out salesmanship skills.
