i have some stuff here to trade if interested, im just getting another rig together for the living room and would rather do some trading here and not spend any cash on something to put in a computer that was free to begin with...

Cant you get a burner local for about $15? I mean thats pretty cheap and thats a super fast one man.

FYI an 8x burns a cd in 10min(if you needed a refrence) I used my 8x burner for 5 years until it finally failed.

RICOH makes the besy opticle drive IMO...they are industrial grade

i know how much they are, i just prefer doing business with other members, im trying to not spend anything on this system (i answer to a higher power...the woman), and maybe help someone out with something they need in the process....plus, this helps me keep the clutter to a minimum...know what i mean?

Still gonna cost you shipping charges and waiting time unless you live next door to a fellow pimp. Just go buy one and save lots of time and money (I understand what your sayin, but you're better of just gettin one locally)

if i buy one locally, it will cost alot more than that (local to Prestonsurg, KY = 2.5 hour drive to Lexington, or a 15 minute drive to spend $60+ on more than i need because the local Wal-Mart only sells dvdrw drives) buy one off newegg, its still gonna cost me shipping...and thats something that newegg is notoriously expensive for...

i ship slow ass ground, and expect any one of you to do the same, usually, the most im out is $5 plus getting rid of useless parts that belong in the hands of someone who can use them, im in no hurry to do any of this, i just enjoy trading with members...and helping my trader rating (something money cant buy)...

btw, i think a deal has been made, so im suspending the offer until further notice...

Let me know if it falls through 'cause I've got one I'll send you for free but you'll have to make a drive cover for it (pulled from my crappy Fony Vaio....great drives but in need of drive covers). I've got a DVD-Rom and a CD-Rom burner that's taking up space.

No I am still interested. I was gone all weekend for a slight family emergency. I am back now and ready to ship it out if the deal still stands. Otherwise I apologize for the mistake I made, I should of found a way to contact you.

I've got an external HP USB one I think its only 6x but that may be because of the USB. Either way you could always take it out and use it in a regular case and have a external/portable HD with the old enclosure...
