Hey pimps

I need another favour.

My sister (10) has gotten into the sims, she really thinks its the best game in the world

Problem is, a couple days ago (for her b-day) I got her the "Sims 2", now this game needs alot more graphics power than the older ones.

The computer she uses, or rather the cheap computer I put together for the family is:

2.8GHz Pentium4 @ 3.02GHz
512Mbs of PC3200
80GB SATA
and the ever so until now, able...GeForce2 Mx400 64mb PCI

I need something better and something cheap. Not sure what this game "needs" but im lookign for the following..

GeForce3 ti200

GeForce3 ti500

GeForce4 Mx440

GeForce4 Mx4000

GeForce4 ti4200-4600

GeForceFX 5200-5900

ATi Radeon 9500Pro / 9250/ 9550

around the "era" of performance...so if anyone has one of these nicer cards just sitting around or is being used in a computer that doesnt see any gamming I could trade you the current card im usinga nd pay the diffrence. Again, can be TOO much..depending on the card il pay up to $50shipped...tell me if this is too low..

i played that game when i still had a ti4600. it ran but looooonnnnggg loading times. let me see if i can dig up some deals for you.

fx5200s usually go for pretty cheap but not sure if you would want something like that . ..

Well actually I forgot about the FX series. So I edited what I want...

Problem is the lower end cards are way overpriced here, and thats what I can get local. Over the internet, becuase I live in canada and dont have a credit card, that limits me too.

I was hoping to get some cheap second hand stuff.

And possibly help someone get ride of some old hardware.

I bought that game for my mom. She used to have a crappy 64 meg MX card card so I replaced it with a cheap 128 meg 5700LE. I think this card cost about 60 bucks after rebate. The card does its job well for her.

With your budget of 50 bucks your stuck with the FX 5200 option unless someone will sell you a used (better) video card at a generous price.

Oh it needs a heatsiunk unless you want me to keep the Northbridge HSF on it from a old mobo, but it looks fugly cause it's zip tied...

press tab and then set your point of view more overhead by useing the mouse press tab again to lock. also remove all foliage trees ect.and minimize house size.
