Default Windows 2k pro and XP pro COAs

i have 4 Win2k pro and 5 XP pro COA's for sale. i would like to sell these all together if possible, but will sell serpeate at a higher cost.

these COAs were originally pulled for someoen else who i wont name, but recently posted a WTB post here awhile ago. but after our first deal, i personally dont feel confortable doing business with the person again.( took a week for payment, and doesnt seem like he is really mature enough to do any deals, but thats my opinion)

these COA's do not come with a install disc, just the COA alone

what i am asking is
Win2k Pro - $20 each + shipping
XP pro - $50+ shipping

or.. all for $200 and i will cover overnight shipping in USA only

i would preffer Paypal as method of payment, but willing to listen to other options.

i dont have any feedback for enay or heatware(?)
what i can offer is my ISP info and provide you with a phone# and my address where it will be shipping from.

these COAs are valid COAs, pulled from computers that we are retiring at my work. they are OEM Coas, so that means you will need a OEM install disc which costs about $5 from online vendors. i was able to find a vendor by googling it, but failed to find it again when trying to find a link for this auction.

anways, if people get mad at this or whatnot, i can/will remove it upon request.

thanks

I would be interested in the XP Pro COAs if you would do a package deal on them only - also enlight of the above information I would require you ship first and then I will pay upon receipt.

Do you have proof of this? If not, please don't crap the thread.

If you might buy these, and have questions, then by all means, post away.

If you are suspicious, then don't buy. If you are suspicious, and have no interest in buying, MOVE ON!!!

IF YOU'RE NOT INTERESTED IN BUYING THEN DO NOT REPLY!!! IT IS NOT YOUR CONCERN!!!

IT'S THAT FREAKING SIMPLE FOLKS!!!

i was nice enough to give this guy a trading rep pt for this trade, even tho it took him a week to even give me a partial payment. he still owes me $40.

as for the legitemicy of my COAs. well i am prepared to contac the police in your area for mail theft if i dont get the remaining of my money soon.

i work in the IT dept for my company. these COAs are pulled from machines we are retiriing and selling to our employees. instead of us having to pay someone to come and ge them, we sell off the stuff and make money for a company picknic or party. im sure ALOT of companies do this when they upgrade thier work machines.

as for my nickname, well ya, it is my 3rd. i am Hellzarmy. that acct i guess is permantly banned after the last post i made.i thought it was a 5 day ban, but i still havent been able to log in otherwise i would use hellzarmy acct to post this.

also, if you are going to insinuate that i am a thief, atleast post the facts of the trade.

i sent you the COAs first, overnighted, on my dollar. it took you nearly a week to have your mother pay me, and it wasnt even the amount that we argeed on, you still owe me $40. there has been a money request from my paypal acct in your email acct since Feb 22.

anyways, that should answer any questions that peopel may have from Antecs post, but feel free to PM me or post a reply here as im sure now that peopel know im hellz this acct will get banned.

Antec, you have a PM regarding the last of the money you owe me.

thanks

if it matters, i have a ebay acct from when i bought a water cooling kit online. just look up Hellzarmy. only 1 feedback on it.

thanks again

I hate to crap this thread too, but I will back TCG because antec_guru placed dibs on one of the items I am selling and failed to provide me the shipping cost or a reply at all about what's going on. Basically, antec_guru is a flaky online trader, probably hindered by age and other factors branching off of that.

As much as I hate to sound kinda stoopid, I just wanna make sure... COA = install key for "X" software, right?

Grandpa, it's the Certificate of Authenticity you find on most OEM PC Cases . . . the holofoil sticker that's got the cd key in it.

Yes, but Microsoft is starting to crack down on just this type of activity by requiring phone activations for all OEM COAs, which are bulk activated at the time of original sale, so theses COAs may, in-fact, be useless.

See here and here

Your right Peng Lord, and you only get like 3 reloads and then you HAVE to call it in. So obviously one load is already used up. And are you sure that they will work? What if you buy one that has been used up to many times? I have been having a hard time getting new numbers for the serials that I have and OWN that I have used to many times realoading. Better be carefull here......

It's especially been a pain as I've had to reinstall one of my systems seven times since initially installing XP Pro onto it; the service rep that I wind up talking to each time fires off at least a half dozen questions before providing me with the number that I need to reactive the software.

*edit*

I've always been able to get the software reactivated in the end though.

i dont know if i would count 1 or 2 peoples experiencee as known fatcs, but. i have had to call into MS many times for reinstall verifications for my companys laptops. i never once have gotten questions about the OEM CD, nor anything else other than teh numbers you are given on the screen when it says for you to call MS.

so anywho

Know this, everyone...a coa sticker gives you the legal right to own the software for the machine the sticker is upon.
Know this also: According to Microsoft, you can only use the COA/software on the machine it was originally purchased.

Personally I have stickers from dead machines I, myself bought, but am not going to use anymore. There is no way I'm going to ditch the use of the software just because the hardware is out-dated. So, the software is moved to a more updated machine. If I have to, I will put a sticker that says "Dell" on it and it's all good. But that's me.

I know of a few companies back in Maine that will actually cut the portion of the case the sticker is on out so they can keep the number without fear of ripping the sticker trying to remove it, (I know Dell's are a pain to try to remove from the side of the caseby hand, dunno about any of the others) before sending the pc out for recycling. The removal people usually give some pretty strange looks seeing the little rectangular cuts in the sides of those cases.

The internet company I used to work for has a drawer full of little slices of case wall . . . Metal and plastic.
