Handheld Sound Level Meter For Sale

I just realized I still have this lying around and never use it anymore - if it would measure low enough I would give it to PR to due fan and heatsink reviews with but alas is only goes as low as 50 db.

Its a handheld meter tha reads from 50 to 126 db spl. I originally bought it and carried it around in my car for that "My car stereo is lounder than your car stereo" smart ass. You whip the meter on them and tell them to put their money where their mouth is and they shut up damn quick. Works wonders for that and I supposed many other things. I dont use it anymore and thought someone may be interested. Price was $50 new. I dont have the box or manual (its pretty self explanatory) but I do have the carry case. Its is in *perfect* condition with no scratches.

Heh, before he started his own business, my dad used to design sound meters, not for radioshack, quest technologies, but yeah...

Cyno01, you know a good and inexpensive sound level meter that goes lower? I have been looking for a good sound meter that will measure lower... like starting around 20 - 30 db.

Below 30db is the high end lab grade stuff, and thats when it starts getting real pricey. Quick check on ebay found these two (1) (2), for relatively cheap. Both list the low end starting at 30.
