Wanted to bump BigAkita's original post for everyone to read or re-read. Whichever the case may be.

Apparently some people have forgotten or never read it to begin with. Recently we had a member join who has excellent trader rating elsewhere join here, but that person got a less than warm reception.
For Sale Thread here. Now the original post was removed. Our loss in my opinion.

We had another instance of almost the same exact thing earlier here.

Now I understand the rules of the Trading Post were not followed 100% by either poster, but that was being dealth with. They each had good trade history on other sites, and were not given the chance here.
This pisses me off! And believe me you do not want to make me mad.

PimpRig is about welcoming new members. If you think cause someone is new they will burn you, well we have seen members in longtime standing burn members. So give the new people a chance. Or you will deal with me.

Oh Holy Sh*t, Foe is pissed, bad move.

There WILL be courtesy in the trading post. NO DISCUSSION IS NEEDED ON THIS MATTER. If someone doesn't follow the rules 100% in their initial post, a friendly reminder is recommended. If they continue to not abide by the rules, you will contact an admin instead of taking matters in to your own hands. If it is spam, use the report post option.

Neg rep that is undeserved will be brought back triple on the person who wrought. I'm not a religious man, but I believe Sammy said it best here:

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. BA, if you ever run for office, you got my vote!

I think I can see where the "regs" are coming from, when they remind new members/sellers about the rules, and/or ask for references, etc. What really seems to be lacking, IMO, is a sense of TACT in some members... Not a widespread lack of it, just the occasional diarrhea of the mouth...

If someone new comes to the Trading Post, exercise a little tact if they make a mistake here or there in their post... We all had to start somewhere, so why can't they start here?

Anyone with a HeatWare account should have this one down pat: if you're trading with someone with higher heat, you put up first (pay or ship, whichever applies) as a show of good faith. Perhaps giving someone the benefit of the doubt to a certain degree if they're a first-time PR trader would not be a bad thing altogether...

New trader comes in, misses the ISP rule, but is willing to ship their goods first, even if they have a higher Heat rating than me, you'd better believe I'm gonna make friends with them fast, and make sure they have a good warm and fuzzy about the PR Trading Post.
