Default WTB or trade for RAM
I am looking to procure some RAM for a mobo I will be getting soon for my spare CPU.
Does anyone out there in Pimpland have any spare PC2100 or PC1600 (value RAM is ok too) that they wouldn't mind trading or selling? Trading preferred.

A spare PSU wouldn't hurt either if you have one that came with a case and you don't need it.
Nothing special required here as this rig will not be OCed, just a folding and music rig only.

I think I can cover you on the ram stick, I'm pretty sure I got one in the junkyard. The only spare PSU's I've got right now are AT, I blew up two of my ATX's within the last couple months.

I dont want to make a new thread but does anyone have a stick of 256 MB PC133 laying around. This is a cut and paste from Crucials website......

Upgrade for the HP Vectra VL400 with 733MHz processor

I have about 50 sticks of Dell ram of matching spec. that acts as my ceiling trim in this computer room.

I'll send you some but the double sided tape I used to mount it, you'll have to remove.

Wow, these responses came rather quicker than I anticipated.
It looks as though BA is sending out RAM tomorrow which will hold me over on RAM since this won't be my main rig anyway and will be running Win98.
Andrevas: I may need that additional RAM you mention very soon as well, don't know for certain just yet though.

As for the PSU, it looks like Zer0s and mot19 have PSUs, hey Zer0s what is the wattage of the PSU you have available since you replied first. If it is under 400w I will most likely go with mot's offer, but I do appreciate the thought.

godfoot, the ones I have are a Micron and a completely nameless generic stick, each PC2100 512s and they have blue aluminum heatspreaders on them. Just FYI. If you don't take them though then they go to my mom's Dell.

Aaron, make sure you physically double-check that that mobo doesn't take RDRAM, I just made that mistake recently getting PC133 for a Vectra VL600 w/ 733 CPU because of info that stated my board supported PC100 and PC133 which it did not.
