My precious 1800+ that ive hit 2.5ghz with needs a home. My new athlon 64 not only kicks ass stock but is a great overclocker too. With a my decent budget board (shuttle an35u) and my 2 sticks of generic pc2700 and a decent cooler i hit 2.5ghz (215fsb with an 11.5 multi) at 1.85 volts. I ran it most of the time at 200fsb x 11 for 2.2ghz and 1.75 volts and it didnt even idle over 40c in my hot house. Anywho, heres her stepping code jixhb 0329xpmw. I think thats the stepping anyway, i never payed attension to steppings. Im asking 60 bucks shipped because its clearly as good as any other thoroughbred chip out there. So yeah if anyones interested just holler Mot19 needs the cash

Without sounding disrespectful, I'm pretty sure noone wants a CPU that has been overclocked. Unless you used refridgeration, its not going to be recieved well. Unless you plan on taking whatever is offered.

i would think that also duck, but its pretty much garuteed to hit 2.5ghz if u wanted it to which is alot better then alot of people can do with a 2500+ And no it didnt sound disrespectfull, jsut i thoguht some people out there wouldnt mind paying an extra 10 bucks for something garunteed to clock high

The problem is, for a few bucks more you can get a new one that will come with a warranty, and 2.4-2.5GHZ is pretty much an average to good overclock for them these days.

Another thing is you can get a 99$ 3100+ Sempron or a 130$ A64 2800+ both will destroy an old XP with it's on die memory contoller....that will most likely be my next upgrade, I am sure most people are looking to go A64 soon.

Now if you had one that ran at 2.8-3.0 GHZ that would have gotten a quick response

If you don't get any takers here, try EBAY..list it as a "Pre-Tested" 2.5+GHZ CPU there are people who grab it rather than gamble on a new one that might not OC. I saw a few there bringing some pretty decent coin, but that was before Mobile 2500's hit the market

If you bought the retail version, include the HSF and package..that 3 year warranty would be a good incentive.

nope its oem. I find it strange no one wants a 2.5ghz athlon for 60 bucks lol. or at least someone could offer a trade, but oh well i guess ebay it is maybe
