Ok, i want to build a couple folding machines, and well i need some spare parts. i know PR isnt the place to look for handouts and ive seen others get flamed for wanting them, but i decided if i can do this right it wont sound rude.

This is not in any way a demand. Just if any has absolutely anything at all there willing to part with, i will pay for shipping. anything is a good thing. and if you dont have anything thats cool, i appreciate the thought. but if you have something laying around, and you dont need or use it. i would be willing to pay for shipping.

You know what I find works? Abit BP6's. Yah sure they are only PPGA Celerons but they go through WU's in about three to four days a piece. It's n SMP board and I have two of them. If I find a third I'll send you a PM because I don't have enough parts to build a third BP6 system.

You can find them on eBay for next to nothing. They accept Celerons in SMP mode up to 550mhz, though the highest one is 533. I have seen 366's @ 550 on decent cooling. Find some 466's or 500's if ya cant find 533's and just wind em' up.

i didnt think this thread would be a problem because its for a good cause, PR folding, i feel bad cuz i cant use my comp for folding since its had 50 other reasons as it is.

It's no big deal, I already started a thread, i need a dual Slot 1 BX chipset mobo for a pair of PIII 500's same-stepping I nabbed.

Wish I could help you out. No biggie asking for spares in my book though.... I've got a mobo, case and HD waiting for RAM and a CPU..... I know the feelin' I'm trying at least get spot #20 back.

Lemme know what spare parts you still need. If I have 'em, I'll donate.
