wtb: older laptop

I'm looking for a laptop, ~266-400mhz, nothing too fancy. 96- 128mb of ram, ~5 gig HDD.

I've been watching ebay, but I figured maybe I'd ask here, too. I've got about 150 to spend. If anyone can hook me up, that's be great.

I've got a Toshiba Tecra 8100:

P3-M 700
128MB RAM
12GB Hard Drive
Docking Station
Power Adapter
Integrated modem
NIC on docking station
2 PCI slots
8x DVD ROM drive

I can't let it go for $150, but if you're interested, PM or IM me about it. I'd be looking for something around $450-500.

it has a 14 inch screen i belive its a compaq presario, battery charges and works froa round 30 mins(what can u expect from a laptop that old) winxp installed fresh, has power adaptor, one problem though. While changing out the screen (i had broke it) the cdrom stopped reading. Im almost positive i just didnt connect the cdrom good enough. Oh and it has a wireless card.

not to diss on u joose, but for 550 u can catch a brand new dell laptop when they got their sales going on. Maybe u could sell that one for that price and go buy a brand new one

I have a Dell Inspiron 7000:

PII 300mhz
128MB Ram
8.2 GB HDD
Power adapter
Battery lasts about 45 minutes
Docking station
Leather carrying case (may be pleather, but it looks nice)
and a few other odds and ends.

One of the hinges on the LCD screen is broken. It still functions well, just needs a bit more care. I am sure any pimp can fix it easily. If you would like pix I would be glad to send em your way.

Also, no software is included.

100 bucks plus shipping (20 bucks I recon)

Not sure about the 7000D, but yes it still has the service tag on it. It starts with an E though, like I said I can take pics if needed.

I sent ya a PM. Wanted to add, the hinge problem is well known for this line of dells. I found a replacement on ebay .

Edit: Added some links to pics. As you can see, one hinge is broken and the other one is starting to break as well. So the 35 bucks for the replacement (shown above) should be considered if you are thinking about buying this laptop. Also are pics of the bag and docking station.
