Default Good Trade?

I'll be trading my 120Gig Seagate EIDE 7200rpms 8mb cache for a TT Aquarius II with a res from xoxide. Do you guys think that it's a good trade or not? I don't know much about WC'ing and trading but wanted a full WC setup. Thanks for the input guys

sure would be a fine trade to get your feet wet with just don't expect major temp improvments with that system. it will be noticable quiter though

seems like a fair trade right now considering that a 200 gig drive is about the same price as that kit.

be sure you scrub that drive of everything before you sell though!

Blast, lost another one to the chilly depths of water cooling...or fiery depths, in this case.
Sounds like an OK deal, but don't expect much of anything from ThermalBake.

And just when you thought their air cooling offerings sucked enough
...guess they decided it's time to do a bad job with liquid too.

LoL! I know it's TT which sucks ass, but just wanted to test the waters sorta speak with water cooling. After this and getting a job to pay for it, I will get some dangerden stuff and a Polar- Flo TT for a true water cooling setup.

Thanks guys!

Enko I'd bet you a drive for the price of the TT setup will probrably be a Maxtor or something like that. I do want to buy a 200Gb drive in the future.

For reference for anyone here I do not and WILL NOT ever purchase Maxtor, I've seen their prices and you get what you pay for. Pfft 1 year warranty! Beat that with a 5 year Seagate warranty! Plus I've fried a Seagate and it still worked so I still love em!

don't obligate yourself to anything just yet. I can already name better parts than what you just listed...get this kit. Get an understanding of how it works and why....do a few really cheap mods and see what they do to this setup...once you get into this you will see why the parts you just listed have flaws...if your not the type of gal to get really hardcore with modding then by all means go grab yourself a Polar-Flo thingy-ma-bob. I suspect thought that you will be wanting to rip the tubes out of a caprice heatercore and replacing them with 1/2 barbs before it's all over and done with

LoL! I never really read into the Polar-Flow just looked at and thought it looked nice. I do want to go with a 1/2 barb setup and know I'll be using tygon barbs since I've heard so much about 1/2 being so much more efficient from Spec Forces Bob.

the 20% off expires sept 1 so get it now while you can. just found the expiration date but dell has been doing a bunch of sales recently for some reason so chances are that it will start up again

edit: bah, ordered 2 of them from dell as well as a px-712 dvd burner and the hard drives are back ordered
