My friend is looking 4 a 300 GB hard drive but at 7200 RPM. Can any 1 help

If he doesn't have SATA he's gonna be SOL. The highest PATA 300 gig HD is 5400 rpm.

I think only maxtor has a 300GB on the market at the moment, but its not in 7200RPM yet. Give it a couple of weeks.

Those all suck. Wait til sometime in the fall when the new Seagate 7200.8s come out, 400GB with 16MB buffers, NCQ, and 133GB platters.
