![]() | I have two priorities right now: eating and computing. Sadly I'm finding it quite difficult to find a balance between the two. In my sig, you'll notice that it says P4 2.1gHz. Well, I had this irrational urge to "not starve to death", so I needed to swap out my nice elitegroup mobo with the 2.1gHz P4 in favour of the P3B-F that was sitting in another rig (now sold, along with the P4+mobo, and almost all of my spare parts). That mobo burnt out my sad 850mHz PIII, so I fell back to my last processor: a sad, sad, sad PII 450mHz. Now I'm putting along at 450mHz on a full stomache. Life sucks. I'm budgeting myself $100 (CAN) of the cash I got from the sales for a new mobo+proc. The P3B-F can't take anything over 850mHz, so I need CPU+mobo bundle. Is there anyone who wants to help out a fellow geek who is down on his 450mHz luck? I can buy (keep in mind: $100 Canadian is like $0.15 American) or trade (trade what? I have some NIC's, sound cards and video cards). Details on request. I need anything 1.2gHz and up, supports PC100 ram (3 slots or more), 4x AGP. But then again, beggars can't be choosers!

![]() | Naw, I sold all my spare parts (only video cards there were a S3 Savage 3000 and Rage 128 Pro), so I have enough money to get me through until the next paycheque. Thanks for your offer, though. Very thoughtful.

rofl....i have a policy: unless I can do without, or replace a part, i do NOT risk breaking it. It's good to be around people who are willing to do without so much
