If you are looking for a cheap router then look for a Belkin. I paid 9.99 for mine at Microcenter. Not sure if you have a microcenter near you but they do have an online store.

I would suggest you take that one you got from best buy and trade it in for a Dlink or Linksys

Best buy? I would never shop there again. I hate that store. They have to absolute worst customer service i have ever seen.

There is nothing wrong with the Belkin router. It was 9.99 has NAT and works like a champ. Why spend more?

Mist, I have an extra Linksys 5-port switch that you're welcome to. It doesn't have a built-in firewall, though. But it is a true switch, not a hub. If you're interested, pm me.

If you do want one with a firewall (and I wouldn't blame you; that's what I use), Staples has a D-Link 4-Port Router with built-in firewall for $41 (dunno if the site price matches the in-store price), minus this $10 printable in-store coupon = $31.

For $40 (after rebate), BestBuy has a Linksys version that adds in 802.11b wireless capability. And I wouldn't be surprised to see them cheaper than that one week in a sale paper or on techbargains.com.
