Anyone have extra computer parts like a dvd drive, hd, ram for sale? My friend has asked me to build a computer for him. He's not a gamer or anything he just wants it for watching movies and stuff. So if you have any extra parts for sale =]

He's giving me $600 to work with. what video card do you guys suggest for a computer that will be used for daily tast and some movies?

You could even get chipset integrated video if he isn't doing any gaming. If you really want to, get an EPIA MII10000 and whatever else you want-it will be cheap and have more than enough performance for what he wants to do.

that asus board might be the one i might want to use, thanks. "Note: Supports PC3200 only with VGA add-on card.)" Why does that have to do with vga?

Maybe something involved in the integrated graphics cannot keep up with/not compatible with the faster memory.......assuming its shared memory with the system.

You must get an upgrade vid card in order to run PC3200 RAM is the way I read it. Not sure if that was what was intended though as that is a pretty vague statement in the ad.

doing some reseach online thats exactly what it means, i still don't understand why but the MB just has problems with PC3200 ram I guess unless you have a seperate video card.

Hey man, i dont have any money right now to finish this current compy so Im goin to sell this RAM and 9000 Pro 128 meg that I have lying around.

Also have a Asus A7N8X non delux. The RAM is 256 Meg BTW.

PM me if intrested.

I will sell the RAM and Vid card together or seperate, 80 dollars + shipping. Mobo 30 bux + shipping.

Thid video card is ATI built BTW
