Default DangerDen Maze 4 - Intel - For Sale

Hey guys,
To anyone who remembers me (im an old timer...although I havent been around for about a year) Im sorta back and working on my TEC cooling project, where I have run into a problem:
I had bought, whay back when, a Maze4..but it has 3/8 barbs so I cant use it since the rest of my system is 1/2"

This is a maze4 with the extra Cold plate fitting on the bottom.
They sell on www.dangerden.com for 55$

Ill either sell it for 50$ shipped or 35$ shipper without the plate ( I havto buy a new Block woth 1/2 inch fittings, and this thing has only been used once for 20 mins to leak test...)

PM me with offers...Ill also accept any peltier ready 1/2 inch fitting waterblock for a trade.

Good to be back

why not just change the barbs yerself? new ones cost about $1.50 per at your local hardware store; apply teflon tape and tighten with a wrench and yer done.

The Blocks are pressure tested... and you loose the warranty if you fuk around with it.
But I guess if no1 will buy it within the next few days then ill havto do that...I can go lower than the advertised price I guess.....PM me

Well, the barbs are nothing to fuss about...but if you took the whole top off then it'd be a bit concerning until you leak tested it. As long as it doesn't leak, you're fine.

Wanna trade that for my Maze2? The maze2 swirls around to effectively dissipate all the heat a square peltier gives up, thus increasing the amount of cooling compared to the average new day water block. Lmao...

Good call
teflon tape them up and away you go...like 5.00
besides that will be much cheaper than selling the block for less and then needing to get extra money to replace it, just for the barb size...

Oh yeah, just another thing I'd like to question now that you mention it. Does DD actually pressure test and leak test everything like they say they do? Because what baffles me is how I got a cracked Bayres when I was confident that since that their "pressure test guarantee" would hold true, and then my hopes were just shot down.

If you're really afraid of a leak, teflon tape then, then coat the threads with epoxy, and tighen that bad boy down. Course good luck getting that thing off.

Edit: I don't think that reservoirs are pressure tested. Just the blocks I imagine.

¼" Laser Cut Cast Acrylic Material
Water-tight seals and pressure-leak tested.

I imagine they are Or at least supposed to be.

BTW, Nikon...what is so hard about changing barbs compared to setting up a peltier system? Playing with a wrench is alot easier than precision peltier configuration, although I could be wrong.
