Default RAM Keychains

If you are interested in scoring a RAM stick keychain just like the one m3_tw0 mention in this thread

http://forums.pcapex.com/showthread....229#post190229

Drop me a line - I have about 10 or so of them already made up. I have half stick versions identical to the one he posted and also have full stick versions as well. How about 5 dollars shipped.

They look just like this:

I would imagine the full ones look like a full stick of RAM, but hey...I could be wrong.

Just a question, some of that memory would go for $5-10 on eBay...perhaps you'd get better money of of this RAM that way?

Yeah maybe - for the most part there a bunch of sticks I got out of an old IBM - the machine had 96 MB ram in it and it was full - for the most part there just wee sticks of RAM. Easier to sell them as keychains then try to figure out what they were.

I think he already has the keychains made so I doubt the ram will work.

How do you drill through it? I tried drilling through a P1 and it killed my bit

Those things are so damn hard.

There's no need to. They come pre-drilled for your convenience...

Umm... Im gonna ask... WHY?!

I mean, Im a geek and all, but I sill wouldn't be caught dead using one of those. And its nol like it takes skill or anything to make one. just gona deal with a pain in the ass ring.

I had a bunch of RAM lying around that was useless (to me anyway) - tried this on EBAY and it didnt go (a long time ago). Someone just recently posted that they got one and thought it was cool so I thought I would pull them back out again.

Everything is subjective - what you may like others may not.........I kinda think a red pimp hat on an old Abe Lincoln photo looks pretty gay myself but you must like it and more power to you, your allowed to do whatever you like. I never claimed it took skill either - pretty simple task. Put ring through already cut hole - cut chip in two if desired. I guess if someone needed a guide I could make one :-)

Now on to the why - probably because somebody may want them....you dont.

I have (or had till it broke) and only 64 MB Dimm on my keychain forever.

As for why.. make it really conventiant to find.... its the only one with a freken stick of RAM on it!

Heh, if you only knew how long I have been trying to find something to replace that. Also, Thats John Brown, not Lincoln.

I tried it, in the past, didn't like it; I need the functionality of those two part ones that can break apart. But yeah, everything is subjective I suppose.

Hey scape... Drill a hole through an old HDD, use that! Your NEVER gonna lose it... Or forget that you have it in your pocket... hehe. Gonna leave a hole in your dash on every bump....
