HTRN send me a 3d Rage II+ PCI card that has been faithfully pumping out the pixels - until now. Not sure why it's quit but all my incantations over it have failed. Heck I'm not even real sure why it worked under XP Pro in the first place - ATI says it won't.

So once again, for the benefit of the children at Midvale Elementary in beautiful Tucker GA, I'm looking for a VGA card that will send out video to a television. It just needs to clone whats on the monitor so the art teacher can show Powerpoints - I don't need capabilities like remote control, timeshift, antenna reception.

I'm currently using RCA composite into the back of a VCR. I know modern cards use s-video. I think an adapter HTRN also sent [thanks!] would convert from SEVEN-PIN S-video to composite but not 4-pin.

I'd also take a converter box of any sort that fulfilled the mission since the Rage is still sending VGA to the monitor.

I can still send a 501(c)3 letter for those desirous of a taxbreak.

i have a ATI 9250 card. iirc it is a PCI card, and not a agp.
what i dont remember is if it has a S-video output on it, so i will need to check that.

assuming it meets your needs, ill gladly donate it you.

No agp slot huh?

An interesting question. It's difficult to check because the computer is inside one of those metal boxes that locks and bolts down to the desk.

I just know the current card is PCI

the card i have is a ATI 9250
it does have 1 VGA output as well as a S-Video output.
it is a PCI card, not agp or PCI-E

it is a somewhat brand new card. only put in my comp once but didnt work as no vista drivers for it.
