Now Available (11/28/08):
Dell tower, Dimension 8100, service tag H0FQD01, 1.5GHz cpu, 80GB hdd, ATi Rage6 32MB video card, 256MB RAM

Nice cheap, workable system, fresh install of Ubuntu 8.10 (but you can install whatever you want).

What price can I possibly put on a system as incredible as this? How about: $50 + shipping (shipping will probably be around $30)

Also, while I will not force anyone to do it, I suggest asking for shipping insurance for all technology. Parts are shipped in tested-good working condition, but I will not be responsible for the way UPS, USPS, whoever handles the packages. All parts will be shipped in static-free bags, and original or fair replacement boxes.

I'm going to ask if that ram is the light up stuff, And I want Dibs on the SATA HDD, as well as the HSF.

RAM does not light up, sorry bub. Just a great performer.

SATA drive is yours once I wipe it. I can do that tonight. $25 plus shipping sound fair? Let me know.

As for the HSF ... I only have the socket 478 mounting that goes with it (on the board). Also waiting to see if anyone at HWHell is interested in the parts.

If you pay for it up front, I'll hold it as long as you want. I just won't hold anything for folks that "promise" to pay me in a few weeks.
