| I was wondering if anybody had a kvm switch lying around. I need it because I like having the desk space that having only one monitor provides and I want to be able to use my linux and winrig at the same time. if nobody has one, any suggestions on good ones? | ||

| Etiquette & English Gentleman | I bought a cheap, no-name kvm off eBay (like this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...category=45341) ... it does the job fine, though I'm not exactly pushing it with my lame graphics cards ![]() | |

| ...or www.tightvnc.com... Belkin makes really good KVM's - especially their SOHO series...I use them for my servers sometimes. | ||

| Thanks. It needs to be able to take the resolutions and such I use, but as long as it's not crap I shouldn't have any major problems...... as for making my own, don't think I wouldn't try if it wasn't for the fact that I'd have 90 switches to flip whenever I wanted to see how my linux box is doing. EDIT: grr.... all of the KVMs are USB or PS/2... I have a PS/2 keyboard and a usb mouse and the usb mouse does not like adapters. | ||
