Why not just save yer pennies.......and buy something that'll run alot of the newer games. When DOOM 3 and Half-Life 2 come out, I think your going to run into some fps issues.........Video card alone won't help yah without having a somewhat decent processor....like the xp 2500+ and up.........my 2800+ is going for a little over $100 now.

I have had good luck with the refurbished asus A7V-333 motherboard I picked up for a friend for 40$ though. Come on guy..pony up the 40$ and get a locked 1700+ or 60$ and get a new 1700+ thats unlocked and overclock it till it screams... Maybe check out E-Bay. I doubt you will find any real screaming deals though..people know what they are worth these days.
