What would you be willing to pay for some Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series 256MB DDR PC-2700? Have 2 sticks I could let go.

I'm sure people do, but how many people do you see upgrading to the Athlon 64? The reason is, most of us are on a tight budget, and T-Breds are still a great CPU.

I Have a XP2400 (Not for sale) and how much could I get for it when they are under 75$ new?
I might as well hang on to it, and make a folding rig, even when I upgrade to the 64.
Same thing with the Ram, PC2700 is dirt cheap new (why not PC 3200 BTW?)

After you pay shipping to get the stuff, how much are you saving?
Maybe someone can hook you up from here, but I don't think many people are eager to get rid of parts that are still very viable

You can grab a new XP1800 at NewEgg for 49$

PC2700 by Apacer for 38$ at NewEgg

I got the below info from Pricewatch, make sure you check reseller ratings before purchasing form these stores.

XP 1700 for 40$ at PCRapids

PC2700 for 28$ at PCBoost

Good luck Bro, hope you have some luck...You could also look on Ebay

Good idea or bad idea, buying a refurb proc from newegg? How do they even refurb procs? Or are they just box damage ones?

Why not just save yer pennies.......and buy something that'll run alot of the newer games. When DOOM 3 and Half-Life 2 come out, I think your going to run into some fps issues.........Video card alone won't help yah without having a somewhat decent processor....like the xp 2500+ and up.........my 2800+ is going for a little over $100 now.

I would pass on them unless you are looking for a high end CPU, the regular 2400 BRAND NEW is under 75$ you don't save that much to justify the gamble since you only get a short waranty and exchange only.

I have had good luck with the refurbished asus A7V-333 motherboard I picked up for a friend for 40$ though.

Come on guy..pony up the 40$ and get a locked 1700+ or 60$ and get a new 1700+ thats unlocked and overclock it till it screams... Maybe check out E-Bay. I doubt you will find any real screaming deals though..people know what they are worth these days.
