Wanted: Barcode Scanner

I know this is a long shot but who knows what a geek might have in his junk boxes...

Basically I am looking for a barcode scanner to use for keeping track of my electronic components. Its crap to have to go through and price a project and then learn your out of something and what not so I was going to start a barcode system to keep track of my stuff and also help me in job costing...

Anyone have one they would come off of for a reasonable price or trade?

I would prefer USB as it would be the easiest to hookup to my rack mounted case under the work bench but PS/2 would be ok as well...

I have a PS/2 CueCat... They work but they are hit and miss... I am rather wanting just a decent CCD gun..
