| I have two of the Seagate Cheetah T10 SAS Scsi Drives that are hardly used. These things are smokin fast at 15k RPM but do get hot...You would need to fan cool these! they are 147 gb each and work just fine in raid using the PERC5 SI card included. I did get the drives cheap however they are still worth $275.00 each new. These drives were only used long enough to test the capability...They werent thrashed or abused. I just dont have a case big enough to provide proper cooling. I am including in this deal the Perc5Si Raid card that has the onboard controller and 256mb of DDR cache. I paid 125 bucks for this card...Its not the cheapest but it is damn reliable, easy to setup and fast! I also am tossing in both cables...An SAS cable for the perc card...which cost me 65 bucks to buy...The Sata cable so you can run your non scsi drives on the perc card will also be tossed in and that cable cost me 40. Pictures are below...Specs are available online. Any questions send me a PM or email me at bsnider(at)woh.rr.com. I get emails instantly on my Blackberry so I will respond asap. There is nothing wrong with these drives and the controller...I just really need the cash as I have some business travel I have to complete asap. The package would cost you around $750.00 to purchase this kind of speed.... I am selling everything shipped CONUS for 475.00 only here at PCA....After a week they go on ebay where people get more for them. I really just would rather someone here who knows how to take advantage of the speed of these drives get to use them. Thats two 147gb SAS 15k SCSI drives.... The perc5 SI Controller card sas cable and the sata cable as well I will even toss in a driver disc for windows xp....Vista doesnt need it.. Thanks All Barry | ||

| I will talk to the guys here at the shop we may have a good use for those although I am not sure they will go with it due to cost.. not that it is not a good price but we just had to build a new master server for the shop (old one puked and almost cost us 1.3TB of data) Anyway we just dropped $4K in the new 8TB monster and buying more to get it going might not be possible but I will still mention it to them... Will post again Monday once I can talk to them about it... | ||

| Well it turns out that it would not be compatible with the setup we are using now.. Apparently we are virtuallizing the server and running multiple OS's on the server lol... OK.. Sorry bro.. If I had the money I would probably buy it from you myself as I could use it in my rig but no joy... | ||
