| This thread will be updated once I find more things to put up for sale ![]() I'm selling this laptop after receiving it from a friend that could not get it to work. Will not power up, could be something simple as needing a new battery. Don't have the need for a laptop so here is a good deal for those of you that are good with electronics! I usually work on desktop PCs so this is pretty much out of my league. She has really taken care of it, a few minor scuffs on the top casing (as seen in the 1st pic). LCD screen is in perfect condition, no cracks around the corners or anything of the sort. -Intel Pentium 4 @ 1.7Ghz -40GB HD -1GB RAM (Comes with 512mb, there are 2 sticks so I assume that it is 1GB) -Nvidia GPU -Harmon Kardon Speakers -Windows XP Will also come with the AC wall charger. More info is found here.... Amazon.com: Toshiba Satellite 5105-S501 Laptop (1.7-GHz Pentium 4, 512 MB RAM, 40 GB hard drive): Computers & PC Hardware Pictures here.... ![]() ![]() ![]() PRICE = $100 Next up is a WORKING old school Toshiba Tecra8000! I've been using it lately, but don't need it. Holds a 1 1/2 hour charge on original battery. P3 - 400Mhz 10GB HD 64mb Ram 13" LCD screen Win XP SP2 Incl. Great condition for it's age, adult owned. Clean LCD all pixels are sharp, no missing keys. Comes with wall adapter. These go on e-bay for $130 + $20 shipping so I think my asking price is pretty good. ![]() PRICE = $100 | ||

| The non-working laptop I have no use for, but I have a suggestion for you. Toshiba Satellite 5105 (which you've got there) can be parted out on e-Bay for $200 - $300 if done right. 512MB memory sticks are ~$35, screen somewhere between $80 - $120, and the keyboard / bezel / frame for another $30 at least. You might even offer up the mobo as a non-working for anyone who wants to pay shipping -- perhaps they can recover the cpu or something. Just an idea. | ||

| Hmm thanks for the suggestion! Didn't think about parting it out. The only thing it does is the recharge LED blinks yellow even if it is left plugged in for a day. It turns out to be a graphics card issue and all the S105's have the same problem that have posted about the yellow led and no power issue. | ||
