Two questions about the speakers---

One, is the outer shell on the subwoofer metallic (ie: scratches can be polished out)? The speakers look to be encased in metallic tubes, so that's a plus for me...

Two, what color are the LEDs?

Dibs on the Sicuro, depending on what you tell me...

The subwoofer is not metallic. The front bezel is plastic and the rest of the box is covered is a plastic or wooden sheet. But the speakers are all metal accept for a plastic base, and the LEDs are blue.

I emailed you, but in case you check this first, is the x1950 Pro 256 or 512 MB?

And what would the shipping be to 92123?

Hey Wurum, thanks for the interest. I got your email, and the X1950 is a 256Mb version. Shipping to you would be anywhere between about $9 for USPS Parcel Post and $12 for USPS Priority Mail... or more if you want it faster

Damn... Sorry, Jobi, I was hoping that the main case was metallic somehow, so I could polish it up, as well as the speakers...

I'll have to pass on them for now... If no one takes them off your hands by the time I get back to the 'States, though, I will take them anyways, just as a point of order... By then, I should be able to figure something out to polish the main case up...

Hey Jobistober,

On the MSI K9MM-V AM2 VIA K8M800, can you set the memory voltage in the BIOS to 2.1? I looked at the manual on line and it said you can adjust it, but it doesn't give a range and the screen shot shows 1.9. I think it says the default is 2.0

I don't, sorry. If I did, I probably wouldn't be selling the mobo. If you buy the mobo, I'll throw in a free Creative sound card, since the onboard sound makes an annoying high pitch whine.

Does the AM2 mobo have any overclocking potential?

I would doubt it. Like pisci said, the max FSB setting allowed is 232 (I'm for sure). The northbridge on it is crap (like a K8M800 or something) and there is no PCI lock. So I'd say you'd be hard pressed to get a decent clock out of it.

I'd recommend this mobo for a budget rig or an HTPC rig.

How much better is a X800XT over an Nvidia 6600GT?

Sorry, I sold the X800 and I forgot to change it. But an X800XT is comparable to a good 6800.
