I am seeing A LOT of sales posts which are not getting approved because the seller is not listing their ISP email address with their post. This means that gmail, hotmail, yahoo mail, etc. is not valid. Anything you can signup to get for free is not valid, period. Listing your ISP EMAIL is the a main requirement along with listing a price (no bidding). If you are worried about listing your email address because web crawling email bots may pick it up for spamming, there is a solution for you! You can use the Mail Hide script from the reCATPCHA project. You will be able to protect your email address while helping to digitize books. Go here to get the script to protect your email address in your listing for approval! | |

if you actually own a domain and the WHOIS lookup data has your name and address on it I believe it should work as long as you add that to your thread (I have used this method a few times) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

In my eyes, I want everone to be protected! I often do deals through PM and not in the forums. If you are selling and don't have a ISP email, which every ISP priovides free of charge, I can't see how you can not justify this measure to protect the traders. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

May not be the case for you, but a work email such as my AKO email address (us.army.mil, the more civilian-minded) has been approved for some time now. I personally choose not to use my Cox Cable-provided email account, since it will probably be changing if/when I get transferred somewhere else... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
